Lean Manufacturing Manager

Key Performance Areas
In this key role, the Lean Manufacturing Manager will drive Lean implementations at our facility while building and maintaining a Lean Training Program for the organization. You will build teams that focus on Lean Manufacturing processes and lead pre-existing teams to achieve more efficient results. While being a member of the facility's Management Team, you will be expected to collaborate with all levels of the organization including Quality, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain.
Additional responsibilities include:
Make use of Lean-related tools and best practices, such as Gemba, 5S, Visual management and layout development in order to reduce waste and improve efficiencies
Maintain a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner
Lead teams in Value Stream Mapping for all areas as required by the Site Manager
Your Profile
You possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline, along with 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in Lean Implementation. You should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
Additional qualifications we are looking for include:
Experience working in a matrix organization with several stakeholders
Experience with and an understanding of customer relations
Detail-oriented with the ability to make decisions regarding processes/procedures while working with all levels of the Organization
Lean Certification (Six Sigma Green Belt or above)
Fluent spoken and written English skills
As the Lean Manufacturing Manager, you will be asked to travel up to 20% of the time.
